Chillventa 2026: Refra Shows CO2 Booster with Built-in Gas Cooler, Propane High-Temperature Heat Pump

By Editorial Team

Refra has brought two new products to Chillventa 2026: a CO2 (R744) booster with an integrated gas cooler and a propane (R290) high-temperature heat pump (HTHP). The CO2 booster offers refrigeration capacities from 55 to 267kW (15.6 to 76TR) and has a modular design that enables multiple units to support a capacity up to 1MW (284TR). It can serve both medium- (MT) and low-temperature (LT) applications, LT applications only and serve as a gas cooler for MT applications.

The R290 high-temperature heat pump offers heating capacities between 30 to 400kW per unit (8.5 to 113TR) and can produce hot water at up to 80°C (176°F). The company said its HTHP has been designed with an equalized circuit architecture designed to ensure that each refrigeration circuit delivers the same output.
