Chillventa 2026: Vahterus Debuts the Combined+, an Evaporator with an Integrated Droplet Separator and Superheater

Vahterus has debuted the Combined+, a new evaporator with an integrated droplet separator and superheater, at Chillventa 2026. Combined+ is designed for applications where the efficiency of a flooded evaporator must be balanced against concerns of saturated suction gas. Vahterus’ new evaporator can use an external source or high-pressure condensate as the heat source for the superheater. Typical applications for the Combined+ include heat pumps using natural refrigerants, according to Vahterus.
