A little more than two years after it originally launched, NaturalRefrigerants.com has been given a major update designed to reach more readers across the world and to ensure the site continues to be the top location for natural refrigerants news as the world continues to transition from search engines to artificial intelligence.

The entire website has been given a modern look: the news, marketplace, directory and events sections have all been overhauled. Along with the redesign, the entire site has been optimized for AI readability in recognition of the changing way in which people are looking for, and finding, information online. Speed and responsiveness were also a focus of the revamp, and the new NaturalRefrigerants.com has significantly reduced page load times compared to the old version.

“After 20 years and many websites, I’m genuinely still excited about launching a website in this space,” said Marc Chasserot, the CEO and Founder of ATMOsphere, publisher of NaturalRefrigerants.com. “What’s exciting with this new website is that we designed it to serve this rapidly growing, global industry.”

The news section has undergone perhaps the biggest transformation, with all articles now available in seven languages at the click of a button: Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish. Support for more languages is planned in the coming months. In addition, audio versions of all articles are available in five different languages – English, French, German, Italian and Spanish – with support for more languages planned as well.

The way news is reported has also changed with the addition of “Briefs”: bite-sized updates on the natural refrigerants industry, sourced from news articles and press releases as well as LinkedIn, YouTube and podcasts. Briefs provide readers of NaturalRefrigerants.com with a constant stream of news while the editorial team works on more in-depth stories.

“In the coming months we’re going to grow our editorial team to cover more content and more events,” Chasserot said. “I can’t wait for people to use the platform and to see the content and be inspired by it.”

Mapping the natural refrigerants industry

The natural refrigerants industry now extends far beyond Europe, with companies operating around the world. Reflecting this global reach,, the new NaturalRefrigerants.com has made mapping the companies and events in the space central to the redesign of its directory, events and partners pages.

The recently launched NaturalRefrigerants.com directory has a new look that makes it easier to search for specific companies using either filters or the world map. Nearly 1,000 companies from more than 65 countries have been added to the directory to date, a list that includes manufacturers, distributors, installers and consultants.

The events page has also been redesigned with a new map function that enables users to see events happening in cities around the world. Users can click on a city to see upcoming events and filter the map by event type. The new partners page also maps the headquarters of the site’s more than 70 partners and allows users to filter companies by the products they manufacture. Those products can be seen in more detail on the marketplace, which has been given a new look that makes it simpler for users to find and inquire about products and services.

“In the past 20 years we have inspired so many entrepreneurs to launch new products and companies in this space, generated countless qualified sales leads and our websites have had over 10 million page views,” said Chasserot. I’m really looking forward to this next chapter. We’re going to be better, faster and bigger than ever before.”
