Adsorbus has debuted its new adsorption chiller, the heatChiller, at Chillventa 2026, which uses water (R718) as its refrigerant and which can use waste heat from 50°C (122°F) as its heat source. The chiller uses proprietary rings made of MOF (metal organic-frameworks) materials as its sorbent, which the company says makes it technology "reproducible, scalable and ready for industrial use." The chiller is available in cooling capacities from 10kW to 3MW (2.84TR to 853TR).
