DORIN was established in 1918 by its founder Mr. Mario DORIN as a manufacturer of mechanical tools and machines, air compressors, liquid pumps and a service centre for vehicle engines. In 1932 its focus shifted to production of refrigeration compressors and their systems. Soon this became the main field of operation within the company. The brilliance of its Founder, together with his mechanical skills and entrepreneurial capacities, supported by the seriousness, commitment and professionalism of his sons, grandsons and great-grandsons, are the base of the company, developing it into a global reference in refrigeration.
Officine Mario Dorin (OMD) celebrated its 100th anniversary since its establishment, always under the same family name. This makes DORIN the oldest family-run company, globally speaking, in the field of refrigeration, resulting in stability, reliability and commitment towards its customers. The human factor, coupled with technological development and constant research and development, have led DORIN to become one of the leading names in the refrigeration market.
