Daikin has commissioned its first propane (R290) chiller for domestic hot water. The chiller was installed in the Netherlands and is from the company’s EWA(Y)K-CZ series, a line of monobloc air-to-water reversible heat pumps offering a capacity of 20 to 85kW (5.7 to 24.2TR). Daikin announced the new unit in March 2026.
