ATMOsphere is hosting an online event summariing the key findings from its 2024 market report on natural refrigerants in refrigeration.

ATMOsphere, publisher of NaturalRefrigerants.com, will host an online event Tuesday, May 27 at 2 pm CEST summarizing the key findings from its Natural Refrigerants: State of the Industry 2024 report on commercial and industrial refrigeration.

The event will be held on Zoom, and those interested in attending can register using this form. It will be hosted by Michael Hines, Managing Editor at NaturalRefrigerants.com and the lead author of the report.

ATMOsphere’s 2024 industry report focuses on natural refrigerants in commercial and industrial refrigeration in Europe, North America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, and Latin America.

In the commercial sector, data was collected on the number of stores using transcritical CO2 (R744) racks and condensing units and the number of installed self-contained hydrocarbon (mostly propane/R290) cabinets. For industrial refrigeration, data was gathered on the quantity of industrial sites using low-charge ammonia (R717) and transcritical CO2 systems, as well as hydrocarbon chillers in Europe.

The report can be downloaded for free here, and an interactive version where each chapter is a standalone webpage can be read here. The interactive version of the report is available in both Spanish and English, and ATMOsphere has plans to publish an audio version.

In addition to installation data, the 2024 Market Report also covers regulatory developments related to f-gases, PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) and trifluoroacetic acid (TFA). ATMOsphere Founder and CEO Marc Chasserot will also present about the latest regulatory and research updates on PFAS and TFA.
