01 Panoramica

It offers a very wide capacity range in almost all application areas and can be adapted to almost all project-specific needs through a variety of options.

The Secon STRATOS VP chiller series from Secon is equipped with V-shaped condenser coils and two to twelve EC fans. Optionally, the V models can also be equipped with integrated or separate free cooling coils. Due to the separate arrangement of the free cooling coils, the fans of the condenser coils are not loaded with additional pressure losses. This ensures maximum overall energy efficiency in every operating mode. The units of the STRATOS VP series have one to four independent refrigerant circuits, depending on the model size. Semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors are used, which have been specially developed for use with flammable refrigerants. The capacity control is either stepless via inverter or stepped.

For models with two to four refrigerant circuits, the system efficiency can also be optimised hydraulically to a maximum by the specially developed “Efficient Flow” option.

For applications with supply temperatures above -5°C, R290 (propane) is used. For lower outlet temperatures and especially for LT-applications, R1270 (propene) is preferred. All components used comply with the highest quality standards and valid safety requirements. All units are subjected to a test run with functional checks before delivery.

The hydraulic piping is made of stainless steel and components such as butterfly valves, Y-filter, vent valve, filling and draining valve, as well as a safety valve are already standard.
