01 Überblick
With a lightweight, compact cartridge design, it ensures ease of service and maintenance. The DCR series features optimized core plates, offering higher flow capacity and low-pressure drop. Made entirely of steel, the housing and top cover are compatible with CO₂, ensuring long-lasting durability and reliability. The solid core features an optimized uniform grain size for effective dirt removal and moisture absorption, even under pressure surges and vibrations. With a maximum working pressure of 90 bar (1305 Psig), it delivers high moisture absorption and acid removal, reducing the risk of compressor burnout. This filter drier is CE, UL, and PED-approved, ensuring compliance with international standards. A reliable choice for maintaining optimal system performance.

01
The Danfoss ELIMINATOR® DCR 90 bar filter drier is engineered for CO2 refrigeration systems, focusing on moisture absorption and acid removal to help prevent compressor burnout. This filter drier is intended for use in liquid and suction lines, offering a lightweight solution that combines high reliability and performance with easy serviceability.
Key to the DCR filter drier’s functionality is its replaceable solid core, available in several configurations to meet specific system requirements. The solid core features an optimized, uniform grain size that ensures efficient dirt removal while maintaining a low pressure drop.

02
This minimizes any impact on system flow and efficiency. Additionally, the robust solid core is designed to withstand pressure surges and vibrations, common in refrigeration systems, ensuring durability even in demanding conditions.
The filter drier’s housing and core holder are made entirely of steel, offering excellent compatibility with CO2 and ensuring the unit’s long-term reliability. The unit’s design includes no welded joints, providing enhanced strength and reliability. The zinc-chromated steel top cover with a drain plug allows for easy liquid evacuation and contributes to the unit’s overall serviceability. The DCR’s unique cartridge design allows for easy core replacement, reducing maintenance time and increasing system uptime.

03
The DCR 90 bar filter drier is available with several core types to meet different needs, such as:
48-DM
A 100% molecular sieve for high moisture absorption across a wide temperature range.48-DC
A mix of 80% molecular sieve and 20% activated alumina for effective moisture and acid removal.48-DA
A combination of 30% molecular sieve and 70% activated alumina, suitable for use after compressor burnout.
With a maximum working pressure of 90 bar (1305 psig) and a temperature range from -55°C (-67°F) to 100°C (212°F), the DCR filter drier has a maximum working pressure of 90 bar (1305 psig), the liquid capacity is approximately 169.19 tons of refrigeration (TR) for R744 under standard conditions (Δp = 1 psi, tliq = 0°C (32°F), tvap = -30°C (-22°F).
