The AKV 10P and AKV 10PS are electric-operated expansion valves, designed for use in refrigeration systems, offering precise control over liquid injection into evaporators. Typically, these valves are paired with Danfoss’ ADAP-KOOL® controllers, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.

The valves are available as part of a program, which includes a separate valve, coil with terminal box or cable, and spare parts such as the upper part, orifice, and filter. Both the orifice and piston assemblies are replaceable, providing flexibility for service and maintenance.

Key features include robust construction for long-term reliability, low leakage risk, and solenoid tight closure when power is cut.
