The ATMO MAC Summit 2026 × TU Berlin, an event dedicated to natural refrigerants in mobile air-conditioning (MAC) and transport refrigeration, will be held September 29 in Brussels.
ATMOsphere, the publisher of NaturalRefrigerants.com, is organizing the event in partnership with Technische Universität (TU) Berlin’s Department of Heat Transfer and Heat Conversion. The MAC Summit was launched in 2024, with the first two editions held on the TU Berlin campus. ATMOsphere moved the event to Brussels for 2026 to engage a wider audience, according to Charlotte Darniche, Events Manager at ATMOsphere.
“Building on the strong technical foundation of previous editions and maintaining its multi-segment focus, the summit is moving closer to the heart of Europe to expand its audience and give other stakeholders the opportunity to engage,” said Darniche.
The 2026 ATMO MAC Summit × TU Berlin will gather HVAC&R manufacturers and OEMs, end users, policymakers and more for technical case studies, discussions on market trends and networking. Sessions will focus on the latest research and market trends related to the implementation and scaling up of CO2 (R744) and propane (R290) heating, cooling and refrigeration technologies in cars, buses, trucks, trains and commercial transportation.
OEMs and suppliers from the automotive, bus, truck and train sectors are invited to submit case studies for consideration in the program. Submissions must follow a specific template, which can be downloaded here, and are due by May 29. Volkswagen, Denso and Thyssenkrupp were among the presenters at the ATMO MAC Summit 2025.
