NaturalRefrigerants.com, the world’s leading natural refrigerant HVAC&R stakeholders, has released a new FAQ designed to serve as a resource for those new to the industry as well as seasoned professionals.
For those new to the sector, the FAQ answers questions such as “What makes natural refrigerants natural?” and “What are the main characteristics of CO2 (R744)/hydrocarbons/ammonia (R717)?” For those with more experience in the industry, the FAQ also provides information about performance energy efficiency of natural refrigerant systems as well as a primer on PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances).
“NaturalRefrigerants.com is the best source in the world for information on the latest trends and news about natural refrigerant-based systems, including those using CO2, hydrocarbons and ammonia,” said Michael Garry, Editor-at-Large at NaturalRefrigerants.com. “For those unfamiliar with the terminology we have created an FAQ that offers fundamental information associated with natural refrigerants.”
The initial version of the FAQ comprises four sections:
- What are natural refrigerants?
- What is the difference between synthetic and natural refrigerants?
- What are the applications of natural refrigerants?
- Types of natural refrigerants
According to Garry, who spearheaded the launch of the FAQ, those four sections will be expanded, and new ones will be added in the coming months.
“We will be adding to the FAQ, which represents the go-to source for all of your questions about natural refrigerants and why they are an essential and future-proof solution for refrigeration, cooling and heating applications,” said Garry.
