The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) runs Cold Chain Institute East, an annual training programme for cold chain professionals. The 2027 session takes place at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta. Operations managers, engineers and rising leaders from temperature-controlled logistics attend. The curriculum covers customer service, safety, food safety, warehouse operations, transport and professional development. Students attend for three days each year and earn a certificate after completing three levels.
