ATMOsphere, publisher of NaturalRefrigerants.com, has launched a new website showcasing the 2026 ATMO Approved Label Companies.

The site features individual profiles for all of the companies approved for the 2026 version of the label. Each profile contains an “impact report” that details how the company’s products or work – contractors are also eligible for the label – have contributed to a reduction in CO2 and TFA (trifluoroacetic acid) emissions.

This impact report contains graphics of avoided CO2 emissions measured in both GWP20 and GWP100. For example, German refrigeration systems manufacturer TEKO, which has been ATMO Approved every year since 2022, sold products in 2025 that avoided lifetime CO2 emissions equivalent to taking 681,000 gas-powered cars off the road.

Along with avoided TFA emissions, the new ATMO Approved Label website also provides a primer on the PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance). The Risk Assessment Committee of the European Chemicals Agency recently concluded that trifluoroacetic acid, formed in the atmosphere by the breakdown of some HFCs and HFOs, should be classified and labelled as toxic to reproduction.

For those interested in working with ATMO Approved Label companies, the new website features testimonials from customers and partners along with a contact form. A total of 18 companies have been approved for the 2026 Label so far, and applications are still open.
